Revolving Door Glass Replacement

The Location

One of our recent specialty glass projects took place at the Marriott Hotel in Norfolk’s Waterside area. Conveniently connected to the Waterside Convention Center, this luxury hotel brings in thousands of business & leisure guests each year. Along with its waterfront location on the Elizabeth River and prime location in the historic district, the Marriott at Waterside is also in proximity to the Chrysler Museum, USS Wisconsin, Naval Station Norfolk and Virginia Zoo. Needless to say, the lobby of this hotel sees a lot of foot traffic – and requires a presentable & working entry way at all hours of the day.

The Project

Pro Window was asked to replace a curved piece of glass for a revolving door at the hotel. When it comes to repairing revolving doors, a big worry that building managers have is the time that it will take to repair & the inconvenience that it poses to paying guests and customers. Luckily, with the help of Pro Window’s experienced glazing specialists, the custom-sized curved glass was quickly replaced without impacting the hotel’s employees & guests.
